FutureGov

FutureGov brings member states, partners and experts together in a conversation on the centrality of public sector transformation, while allowing Member States to share capability–building experiences and reiterate their commitments to public sector transformation moving forward. FutureGov is strongly aligned with SDG 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions), yet its impact reaches across all SDGs, as strong, effective, and responsive governance is essential for achieving the 2030 Agenda. 

Within the UN development system, FutureGov is managed by UN DESA and UNDP, which provide human and financial resources for coordination and development of the initiative. Member States, international organizations, research institutes and other public and private institutions are encouraged to contribute to FutureGov through financial and in-kind contributions (e.g. knowledge products, case studies, expertise, tools, etc.).
